i came to know that hiv virus dies in air exposure,and if there is hiv+ some blood on razor blade or tattoo pin,how can then person be effected..and it is considered as the low risk factor???..why.

I may have accidentally shared a razor with a friend who could be hiv positive. She's a friend and slept over so I gave her a NEW razor to shave with and she sat it next mine which was a different color. I got in the shower as soon as she left...

Even if your roomate is infected with HIV, it is highly unlikely that HIV would be transmitted to you by sharing a razor. Transmission through sharing a razor is not a likely event; there is no actual evidence that HIV has been transmitted this way.... Read more »
