Hi guys. Its been a year or so after my possible exposure but i never really thought about HIV, utill now. Ive been having problems with itchy dry skin all over. Is this a symptom of HIV? Will be testing i a week. thanks.

red spots on lower eyelids

I have recently noticed that I will get red "spots" (like a folliculitus?) on my lower eyelids, it comes, and goes. It doesn't hurt. Is is HIV related? T-Cells around 200, POS, and healthy for 17 years. No HIV meds, yet....

I can't tell what your problem is from your description. Folliculitis occurs on hair-bearing skin (it's an infection of the hair follicle), so it would not be that on the eyelids. I suggest you see your doctor or a skin specialist for a... Read more »

dear doctor. I have been diagnosed as HIV pos last Nov. About 2 weeks ago I notice red spots on the side of my legs, they were very itchy but disappeared after a a couple of days. Now I see similar spots on my upper leg and they are bright red...

Your problem doesn't sound anything like KS, but it could be folliculitis. See your doctor for a diagnosis.... Read more »
