If you have swollen lymph nodes it means something is wrong. Dr. Young from this site has confirmed that stress and anxietty cannot cause this. If the nodes are in one location then it is most likely NOT hiv....but if they are swollen in multiple... Read more » Enlarged Lymph Node

Does anyone know if you can make your lymph nodes swell by constantly checking them? I am very scared because I have swollen nodes behind my ears 6 weeks after a possible exposure. If anyone knows anything about this I would appreciate thier input.
