Once you have discussed with your doctor to determine that what you are seeing is really fat loss and lipoatrophy in your legs and arms then you may wish to consider modifying your combinations to remove the AZT component present in your Combivir.... Read more »

If you are still taking Depakote while on the Truvada and the anemia doesn't recur that would support the view that the AZT portion of the Combivir was the major factor in the anemia. Depakote can cause anemia so it may be problematic to... Read more »

Actually, what you describe could easily be a form of a reaction to the abacavir component of the Kivexa. In up to 6-7% of people, there may be a genralized hypersensitivity reaction that occurs in the firt weeks of therapy, and that may begin as... Read more »
