I'm Hiv positive since 2008 and I have been using ARV Drugs since then. But my friend who is medical doctor advised me to stop taking Arv drugs.He has told me that there is no Hiv specific diseases no where and I should stop taking ARV DRUGS....

Am I the only one this does not make sense to? If HIV causes AIDS than how can the lack of it also cause AIDS?

I have read the explinations but they seem contrived. Has anyone else had doubts about this? I would love to hear your views.
