Most likely if you have strep throat, that's all you have. It isn't impossible to have strep throat and ARS simultaneously. The sore throat of ARS is due to HIV and throat swabs would be negative if that were the only thing going on.... Read more »

I've had a sore throat for almost 3 weeks now. I was given biaxin because they said it was a sinus infection. It did help, but now I've taken all there was of that prescription, and my sore throat is back!!!!!
