Peripheral neuropathy, whether it's pain or tingling in the feet or hands, is VERY common and can be caused by many many diseases. It would be most unusual for this to be the first symptoms of HIV. I would highly suggest you get HIV-tested.... Read more »

Treatment related peripheral neuropathy is uncommon with Atripla and also less common when the CD4 count is high (as yours is). That being said, it can and does happen though from the symptoms you describe HIV or ART-related peripheral neuropathy... Read more »

You don't mention what your HIV status is and which drug you are taking. The symptoms you describe are common in the general population often related to repetitive activities or nerve compression while sleeping. HIV related neuropathies most... Read more »
