The reason im asking is because i have been trying to get info about HTLV window period and most sites say 40 to 50 days is the average to turn positive but i have read cases of people testing far out to 4 months and comes back negative but later...

About the window period...I am skeptical of the current party line, that the window period for becoming antibody-positive is six months max. I had sex with someone in Sept 96, and within two days became feverish and fluey. Fever 101 lasted six... Read more » OK. Again, more info on the 3 month window period.
