Just wanted to clarify, if I could: Are you guys saying that the Elisa test will sometimes be positive, but they will then confirm it with a Western blot . . . . and if the Western blot is negative, then they just tell you "you're negative"?

I have no reason to believe that these medications could cause a false negative on the ELISA test. The ELISA test is highly sensitive, and very unlikly to miss a true HIV antibody response. The main question in testing is making sure enough time... Read more »
