Hi,Unfortunately the answer is you need to get tested. All other factors put aside, you had unprotected sex with someone whose status you are not aware of. Having the blood present does increase the risk of HIV transmission just because it's... Read more »

Unless the blood came into contact with any mucous membranes (the lining of your urethra, anus, or mouth), then I would say that you were not at risk for infection. A condom without any breaks or tears is an effective barrier to HIV. RMK... Read more »
