There are lots of risks from sewage. Hepatitis A is the real risk from sewage in terms of hepatitis viruses. Hepatitis B and C and HIV really need blood to be transmitted. You should certainly wear gloves to protect you from the bacterial infections... Read more »

It seems that you have had a great deal of testing and I suspect that your symptoms are not related to hepatitis or HIV viruses. The symptoms around 22 weeks could be related to hepatitis - but if there was no new risk - your HCV antibody should... Read more »
