i came to know that hiv virus dies in air exposure,and if there is hiv+ some blood on razor blade or tattoo pin,how can then person be effected..and it is considered as the low risk factor???..why.

Do not share your toothbrush or razor with anyone. Hepatitis and other infections can be spread this way, as well as HIV. Don't take any dumb chances. And if you're really worried, I suggest you get tested for HIV, hepatitis B & C,... Read more »

Even if your roomate is infected with HIV, it is highly unlikely that HIV would be transmitted to you by sharing a razor. Transmission through sharing a razor is not a likely event; there is no actual evidence that HIV has been transmitted this way.... Read more »

I was takeing a shower and then all of a sudden I accidently flip over a bucket used by my mom and dad that had razor fell over and I was trying to catch it and it cut me about 3 times on my leg 2 of the cuts where pretty small and the 3rd one left...

I am not aware of any studies which have tried to determine how long infectious virus remained on a razor. However, transmission of hepatitis C is related to drug use, where there is a large exposure to infectious virus, or to accidental needlestick... Read more »
