This is nerve-racking. I'm getting my PCR RNA test (viral load) results later today. It's about 6 weeks after my night of stupidity. Would a positive or negative viral load test at the 6 week point be the final word on this matter?

Valtrex, on its own or in combination with any other medications, does not have any effect on the accuracy of the HIV antibody test. You can still rely on the fact that the negative tests you got for HIV and anything else that was test are the right... Read more »

You don't indicate why these tests were ordered. You also don't indicate whether a HCV antibody test or confirmatory test was done and what the results were. Thus, it is difficult to interpret what those lab results mean.... Read more »
