I know of no evidence that human growth hormone can make neuropathy either better or worse. Common side effects from HGH are aches and pains in joints and muscles, but not worsening of nerve damage.... Read more »

Yes, if you have severe neuropathy, ddI could definitely make yourneuropathy worse. The "d-drugs" (ddI, ddC, or d4T) are contraindicatedin someone who has severe neuropathy.... Read more »

It is somewhat unusual for drug related neuropathy to develop quickly and simultaneously in both the hands and feet. Zewit would be somewhat more likely to be involved than the Fuzeon. Drug related peripheral neuropathy can resolve quite slowly... Read more »

The hand symptoms you describe would be much more consistent with carpal tunnel syndrome than due to HIV or drug related neuropathy. I would recommend an evaluation by a neurologist possible with nerve conduction studies to further pinpoint the... Read more »
