hi,i have a friend whom has recently tested hiv positive,i believe friend has intentionally passing his virus onto others by dropping his infected blood into tea,does this pose as high risk exposure to hiv seeing as blood was kept warm in tea,please...

In general the risk of HIV transmission on mucous membranes (eyes, mouth, etc) is less than 1 transmission every 1100 exposures. So the risk is very very small. It would also depend on how much virus was in the blood...a very high viral load... Read more »
