You don't indicate what your CD4 count and viral load are. In general, if the HIV viral load is undetectable, you are taking HIV meds, and your CD4 count is > 200, it is unlikely AIDS would develop.... Read more »

Treating full blown AIDS

I see many references to treating HIV with protease inhibators and the like. But can these inhibators be used on patients with full blown AIDS? And are there good results?...

In a recent question, you responded by stating "AIDS can be easily treated in most people". Perhaps I'm just overwhelmed by my recent poz status, but to me, there doesnt appear to be anything easy about aids treatment or survival....
