Trustiva (Truvada in US) rarely precipitates diabetes. Checking urine for glucose, protein, and signs of infection and a fasting blood sample for glucose level would be recommended to evaluate why you are urinating more frequently at night. KH Read more »

Trustiva (Atripla in US) rarely causes diabetes. It can cause serious kidney problems in a small percentage of patients. Urine analysis and blood tests for kidney and metabolic problems is recommended as well as checking for any signs of infection. ... Read more »
