Sustiva has been associated with birth defects in monkeys receiving the drug during gestation; there is no evidence that a male taking this or any other antiretroviral therapy could harm a partners fetus.JLS.... Read more »

It is extremely unlikely that the fetus would become infected without the mother first becoming infected. As long as you remain uninfected, then the fetus will not become infected. Therefore, it is important that you get tested during your pregnancy... Read more »
