Elevated platelets are quite unusual as a sign of HIV infection. The symptoms you describe are not suggestive of HIV infection but would warrant a good evaluation by a primary care doc. KH... Read more »

I know that you cannot confirm or rule out HIV infection by a CBC alone. But would something on a CBC during seroconversion give you a hint of possible seroconversion? If so, what would that indicator be? Thanks for your help.
