Remeron can cause constipation and a sense of having urinary frequency which can mimic a UTI. Trying to avoid antibiotics to allow normal bacteria to return (? yogurt diet for a while) helps some patients in your situation. Flomax can help the... Read more »

Bladder control effects of ARV treatment

One of our patients has a problem urinating. Despite feeling the urge to urinate, when trying to urinate can only manage a feeble drip. He is on Combivir/Efavirenz. Could this be a bladder infection, STI or is it something else?
