What Is Atripla? Atripla is a tablet that contains three antiretroviral drugs (ARVs) used to fight HIV: efavirenz (Sustiva), emtricitabine (Emtriva), and tenofovir (Viread). I haven't seen or heard much about sun sensitivity caused by one of the components of Atripla though that is possible and some pxs independent of HIV or treatment develop a sensitivity to sun exposure. KH... Read more »

I am not a doctor BUT i do PLENTY of research on certain meds as I have been taking meds for over 10 years. Atripla is very potent in fighting HIV virus HOWEVER. . .it contains Sustiva which in quite a few recent studies in Europe, Canada and now... Read more »
