I am unaware that eye floaters have been associated with HIV infection. The fact that you are negative for HIV antibody by ELISA 3 months after exposure should be ressuring that you are not HIV infected. I suggest that you see an opthalmologist for... Read more »

Your eye doctor is correct. Floaters are very common among normal people and the cause does not seem to be well understood (at least by this infectious disease doctor). In people with CD4 cells below 100, floaters are a cause for greater concern and... Read more »
