I believe I went through ARS in December, my test in March was negetive. Would antibodies start immediately after ARS?
I have heard that HIV does not wait to infect so why does the window period last so long? My test was exactly 96 days after... Read more »

I read lot of posts about symptoms and window periods. Is it not logical to think that if a person has symptoms associated to ARS that that is when the antibody's would build and a test soon after would seroconvert? Read more »

By definition the acute retroviral sydrome is transient and all people who have symptoms as a result of HIV infection should test positive within weeks (earlier positive by HIV RNA). You should get an HIV antibody test if you are worried.... Read more »
