I'm glad to hear that you are getting this problem addressed. That's a good step. Do the extensive warts explain a falling CD4 count?-- Probably not. I am not aware of any data which suggest that extensive warts cause a fall in the CD4...

I am about to have surgery for anal warts that I have in my anal canal. I was wondering if anyone else has had the outpatient surgery and tell me wht it's like post-op. when will I be able to go back to work? How long am I likey to be in discomfort?

I was first diagnosed w/ condyloma (Venereal warts) in the late 80's and had laser surgery to remove the stubborn critters. No re-occurances for a LONG time. I've noticed within the last 6 or 8 months they have definately come back! My cd4 dropped...
