i know this might sound like a stupid question but is it possible to pick up both HIV and HEP-C from one unprotected, penis/vaginal sexual encounter ? and if so, can this cause problems with an HIV test at 3 months ? co-infection ?

I was diagnosed with hepc my viral was 25 million is that possible and if it is,was it because they gave me Azithromycin antibiotics. because someone told me that would make your viral go sky high....

A negative HCV RNA test needs to be undetectable - I usually use a test that goes down to <50 IU/mL. More sensitive testing I use at "test of cure" off treatment. If you have any detectable virus - that means that the virus will rebound... Read more »
