You don't indicate what your CD4 count was before starting, which HIV meds they are, or whether you had any ongoing infections or medical problems prior to starting treatment. In general, your symptoms would not be the result of starting most...

Acute pain in arms/shoulders is not usual from HIV/AIDS or meds so you need a thorough evauation including looking at cervical spine to look for nerve impingement as well as joint/muscle status for the shoulder girdle. Hopefully the work up can...

It would be unusual for pain limited to the arms to be directly related to HIV treatment. Stopping HIV treatment should not be undertaken lightly since it can have serious repercussions (i.e. flare up of risk for AIDS and non-AIDS clinical events...
