I had two blood tests done recently for mono and strep throat. Would these tests show if I had HIV/AIDS? there were abnormalities, but i have no idea what they mean....

Hi,"Regular" blood tests do not detect HIV/AIDS. You will need an HIV-specific test to determine if you are HIV positive or not. I don't know where you are writing from, but if you cannot afford and HIV screening test, there may well... Read more »

Getting tested for the standard STD clinic tests works better than just getting one test because the tests are cross indicators. Often people with an STD have more than one infection.
