T-20 = Fuzeon is the only fusion inhibitor soon to be more widely available. Since it acts outside of cells (blocking fusion) its toxicity would be expected to be low and that has been the case in major clinical trials conducted to date. The major... Read more »

T-20 (the only fusion inhibitor in wide use) has not been associated with lipodystrophy yet. Since it works extracellularly there is hope that some of those problems associated with unwanted activity of a drug inside cells might be avoided. It... Read more »
