My first test of CD4 was 540 and VL 42,391 that was in January 2003. I just just had them redone this week and they are now CD4 460 VL 63,000 and change. This seems like a tremendous drop to me in such a short time, am I correct in assuming this?...

Assuming, you have been taking your HIV meds as prescribed, it doesn't make much sense. On the other hand, if the labs are repeated and your viral load is still elevated, then treatment failure could be occurring. I would then get a resistance... Read more »
