Is there still a need to go for further test if 2 elisa positive and then negative western blot test. I am not in the risk group. Only some 9 months back I did unprotective oral but safe penetrating with al low risk girl.

I went in for an HIV antibody test 90 days post-possible exposure and the result came back reactive on the Elisa and non-reactive on the western blot. Are the antibodies produced in response to HIV unique or are they generic to a host of other... Read more »
