I was on Efavirenz and Truvada but recently switched to Etravirine and Truvada because of sleep/dream/emotional issues. I saw some research that suggested the 400 mg dose of Efavirine could be taken safely once a day...

There is a study with a new formualtion of Intelence that would be given once a day. We are waiting for final results and then the new form would have to get approval from the FDA. The current pills should not be taken once a day. Stay tuned.Joe... Read more »

My doctor has just prescribed 4x100mg etravirine ONCE a day. I don't see this in the product leaflet or online desription, where 2x100 TWICE a day is recommended. I am very worried... Its Friday and I can't speak to him till Monday! What...

You are correct, the standard dosing of etravirine is 200 mg twice daily. I would take it that way unless you can clarify it with your doctor. This would be especially true if your virus had any previous resistance to medicines such as efavirenz... Read more »

Anyone taking these two drugs together? One or the other?. I seem to be extremely fatigued and weak. Additionally I am off balance also have a marked increase in my need to take a lorazapam ( anti anxiety) . Anybody else have any of these problems? ... Read more »

I started on Intelence over 8 days ago and I broke out in a rash all over my body. My Doctor wants me to continue and see if the rash will go away once my body gets use to the new drug. Has anyone had the same problem?
He put me on presnisone to help... Read more »

Hi has anyone had a rash because of it and if so did it finally go away?
I have a horrible rash after 8 days and my Doctor wants me to stay on it with the hope it will go away.
