the variation between 2000 and 3450 is within the variability of the assay. We usually allow about a 2 fold variablity because of the assay. Thus your viral load did not decrease on it's own. It is possible that May was the month. He is correct... Read more »

I am assuming that she is HIV positive and has AIDS by some definition. This could be because of finding some opportunistic infection, or that her CD4 count is < 200 or 14%. If this is the case, then treatment should be start now and not delayed.... Read more »
