Paul Crockett
A frequent lecturer, he has spoken on behalf of the AmFar, the National Gay and Lesbian Lawyers Association, and numerous other charitable, educational, and other organizations on the subjects of gay rights and HIV issues, and also held workshops on those subjects. He has also written several columns dealing with the legal concerns of gays and lesbians, published a book on that subject, Gay Law 101: What Florida's Gays and Lesbians Need to Know About the Legal System, and has written for The Florida Bar on the subject of planning for disability. He currently writes a bi-weekly column for The Weekly News in Miami, Florida on the legal issues confronting gays, lesbians and people with HIV. His second book, titled HIV Law: A Survival Guide to the Legal System for People Living with HIV, was recently published by Crown Publishers. |
