President George W. Bush Honored at Africare Dinner

The 2008 Africare Bishop John T. Walker Dinner was held on November 12 at the Hilton Washington Hotel. Over 1,000 international, government and corporate leaders were in attendance and raised over 1 million dollars was raised to support Africare in improving the quality of life for the people of Africa.

US President George W. Bush was the recipient of the Bishop John T. Walker Distinguished Humanitarian Service Award for the over $100 billion he has allocated to programs on the Africa continent.
