Events
The 13-15 Oct. event explores mobile technology in support of social action, specifically in regards to health, human rights, environment, economic development, advocacy, citizen journalism and democratic participation.

Part of the Kenya Bar Hostess AIDS Programme, the conference focuses on female bar workers who remain especially vulnerable to sexual violence. The conference seeks to discuss methods to protect and empower these women, reducing their involvement in high risk behaviours such as commercial sex work.

Abstracts are now being accepted for the conference set to focus on scaling up HIV/AIDS services throughout the region. Abstracts are limited to 300 words or less and must be submitted electronically via the conference website.
