Miss Universe in D.C.

October 29, 2002

Miss Universe Justine Pasek visited the Global Health Council on October 25 to learn about her role in the observation of World AIDS Day in December. "There are so many consequences due to this disease worldwide and here in our Latin community," said the former Miss Panama. "One of the surprises was that in my own country to see how lacking of basic needs they are. It's a very stigmatized issue."
