Groups Launch STI Testing Campaign Aimed at Young PeopleApril 6, 2009 "GYT: Get Yourself Tested," MTV, Kaiser Family Foundation: MTV and the Kaiser Family Foundation -- working with Planned Parenthood Federation of America and its national network of health centers and other partners -- last week launched GYT, a campaign that aims to increase testing for sexually transmitted infections among people younger than age 25. GYT is an extension of MTV and the Kaiser Family Foundation's "It's Your (Sex) Life" partnership. GYT's launch included on-air, online and real-world promotions that will continue throughout April in recognition of National STD Awareness Month. Several celebrities and other figures are involved in the campaign, appearing in a series of on-air and online promotions (MTV/Kaiser Family Foundation release, 4/2).
