Needle Exchange Program

The Next Step Needle Exchange offers clean syringes and other HIV prevention supplies to folks who use injection drugs. We also offer free HIV and Hepatitis C testing, referrals to mental health counseling, drug treatment programs or other services as requested.

Our program is open on Mondays, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., and Wednesdays, from 1:30 to 4 p.m.

Our services are friendly, non-judgmental, free, and completely anonymous. For more information, please call Prevention Educator Eliza Quill at (207) 621-3793.
