Camp Hope
- In July of 1996, AFH launched Camp HOPE, the first summer camp designed specifically for children ages 7-15 with HIV/AIDS in Texas. Participants now include youth from San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth, Galveston, Austin, and other Texas cities as well as from other states. Since its inaugural year, the camp has expanded from a three-day summer pilot program to a full-week program that has served 1,039 participants over the last ten years.

International Camps
- In January 2005, AFH implemented Camp Hope in Africa. Entitled camp Tsholofelo (pronounced SO-Low-FEH-Low), which is Setswana for Hope, the camp program serves 60 HIV-positive children from Botswana, Africa annually. AFH also initiated camps programs in Romania: Camp Hope - Flower House for 10 orphaned youth living with HIV/AIDS, and Camp Hope - Romania for 24 youth with HIV/AIDS receiving treatment at a health clinic in Constanta, Romania.

Teen Leadership Forum
- In 2006, AFH launched the Teen Leadership Forum which assists teens ages 15 and over, to transition from adolescence to adulthood as self-reliant, successful, informed individuals. The forum addresses topics such as dating, sexuality, HIV status disclosure, relationship issues, medication and treatment issues, HIV advocacy, substance abuse, college and vocational options, and career development.

The Red Ribbon Toy Drive
- Since 1995, AFH has collaborated with local medical and social service providers and has collected and distributed more than 25,000 toys to children and families affected by HIV/AIDS. Local merchants, businesses, and civic associations serve as "drop-spots" where community members bring new, unwrapped toys.

Project VIBE
- Positive VIBE is a ground breaking collaborative effort targeting HIV positive youth between the ages of 13 to 24. Positive VIBE offers youth in primary care access to transportation, case management, support groups as well as pediatric drop in centers.
