Pos Hetero 2001 Summit Takes Place in March
January 2001 "Empower, Unite, And Join The Fight" is the theme of the four-day Pos Hetero Summit 2001, a conference to be held from Thursday, March 1 through Sunday, March 4 at the Hanalei Hotel in San Diego.
The Pos Hetero Summit, sponsored by Heterochat and the National Association of People With AIDS (NAPWA), is the largest gathering of HIV-positive heterosexuals in the world. The conference includes nightly socials, educational sessions, and a special Saturday evening event. Two daily meals and babysitting are provided. Admission to the conference is free. Participants are encouraged to make a $20 donation. Adam Kuhni, director of Heterochat, encourages making hotel reservations as early as possible. To reserve a room, call (800) 882-0858 and say that you want to register for a room during the Pos Hetero Summit 2001. A limited number of rooms are available and summit organizers expect them to fill quickly. For information about the upcoming conference, finding a roommate to share a hotel room, and to read comments made by those attending the 1999 Pos Hetero Summit, visit www.heterochat.org. To contact Heterochat, call (520) 401-1000 or write to Pos Hetero Summit, P.O. Box 1, Marana, Ariz. 85653.
