Updated IDSA Primary Care Guidelines for People Living With HIV

August 21, 2009

The Clinical Infectious Diseases journal published updated primary care guidelines for people living with HIV developed by the HIV Medicine Association of the Infectious Diseases Society of America. The health management recommendations are based on treatment advancements and findings published between 2003 and 2008.  The new guidelines replace those published in 2004 (Aberg et al., September 2009).
