Nebraska Gets Almost $4 Million for Several Projects
April 11, 2003 The federal government has given almost $4 million to
Nebraska to fund projects to grow the economy and provide health
care for people with HIV/AIDS. The allocations include a $1.7
million grant from the Department of Health and Human Services to
help the state provide care for low-income Nebraskans living with
HIV/AIDS. The money will be used to provide medical care, support
services and prescription drugs for people whose insurance has
run out or whose savings have been depleted.
