Utica, N.Y., AIDS Walk Brings in $34,000
April 26, 2004 Yesterday's sixth annual AIDS Hike for Life in Utica drew about 510 participants who raised more than $34,000, according to a spokesperson for AIDS Community Resources. This year's event was sponsored by the Hamilton College graduating class of 2004. The money raised will go to the resource group's Teen AIDS Task Force, and it will be used to provide support services for individuals and families affected by AIDS in the Mohawk Valley.
