Illinois: Hastert's Office to Meet With AIDS Advocates

October 28, 2005

At noon Friday in Aurora, staffers from the office of US Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) are scheduled to hold a town hall meeting with some 40 AIDS advocates to discuss the re-authorization of the Ryan White CARE Act. The meeting is one stop among many for activists who are traveling to Washington to rally for increased AIDS funding; the effort is organized by the Campaign to End AIDS.
