California: Community Theater Troupe Confronts Taboo Subject of AIDS, Homosexuality
July 18, 2008 This weekend is the last chance to see the original work "Mama at Twilight: Death by Love," a play performed by the Lower Bottom Playaz, a West Oakland-based amateur theater troupe. The play tackles the taboo subjects of HIV/AIDS and homosexuality among African Americans.
