Colorado: Trio Go Public to Tout HIV Tests

On Tuesday several Boulder notables -- County Commissioner Ben Pearlman, singer Hazel Miller, and Boulder Weekly Editor Pamela White -- underwent HIV testing in front of the county courthouse. The event served as the local kick-off for Friday's National HIV Testing Day. Free HIV testing will be offered Thursday at the Powell Building in Longmont and Friday at the Boulder County AIDS Project office in Boulder. Miller said she took the test to set a good example for her five grandchildren.
