Byrne, Feist Join "Red Hot" AIDS Compilation

May 30, 2008

The Red Hot organization, which has released more than a dozen compilations since 1990 to support AIDS research and organizations, has announced the line-up for its newest album. Artists who have committed to the project include former Talking Heads leader David Byrne, the Dirty Projectors, Grammy-nominated Canadian singer Feist, Death Cab for Cutie lead singer Ben Gibbard, and Dave Sitek of TV On The Radio. Depending on when recording is completed, the album may be out this fall or early in 2009, said Aaron Dessner, co-producer with his brother Bryce. The Dessners' band, the National, will also record a song for the compilation.
