Florida: Churches Join in Prayer to Heal AIDS

On Monday morning, an interdenominational prayer service with music and testimonials will be held in Viera to encourage HIV/AIDS awareness in the African-American community. "We have in the coalition churches from Titusville to Palm Bay in very different denominations," said Charlie Antoni, manager of community outreach for Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice. The service, part of the nonprofit AIDS awareness group Balm in Gilead's Black Church Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS, will begin at 9 a.m. at the hospice, 8060 Spyglass Hill Rd.
