Maryland: Black Community HIV/AIDS Program
February 14, 2008 On Saturday, the Howard County Health Department is sponsoring an event focused on how HIV/AIDS affects the black community, with personal testimonies, a video, and information about prevention, care, and treatment. Anonymous testing and counseling will be available. Breakfast and child care will be provided. The free event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at St. John Baptist Church, 8910 Old Annapolis Rd., Columbia. For more information, telephone 410-992-6977.
