Beijing Hotels Told to Stock Condoms to Combat AIDS: Report
November 29, 2007 All hotels in Beijing have been ordered to stock condoms in every room by the end of next year, the state-run Xinhua News Agency has reported. The Beijing Municipal Health Bureau said the hotels will be allowed to charge for the condoms. Although the bureau has been encouraging hotels to furnish condoms for several years, government statistics show that only 133 of the capital's 700 hotels have done so.
